LG TV Remote 2011 App Reviews

Now i cant connect to my tv anymore. Deleted app and reinstalled and still doesnt work. I liked this app before because i always have my phone on my hip, and sometimes if i sit bavk in my coach and realize i need the main tv remote for something i dont have to get up to go get it. Maybe i just wanna change the volume on the football game why get up to get a remote.

Dont really see what the whining about. Works on my phone and iPad with zero issues.

Does not work with my PZ5500 at all.

We have small children and they always "hide" our remote. This app is the perfect temporary replacement.

New LG TV, just loaded remote app. Wont connect. Scanned MANY times.. Wont connect and no troubleshooting options in set-up. Dumped the app.

This is one of the best apps that I have on my iPhone 4s. I am a quadriplegic and it works perfect for my 55 inch LG Smart TV. The TV has gave me problems, but the App Remote has work perfect

This is a very useful app. I just wish it had more of the buttons on it (like input). I use this app a lot, especially to turn the tv off at night when I cant find the remote.

I would say one out of 50 tries does this app see the TV. Same network, TV listed as applicable etc... Useless..

It worked once. Now it shows the pin box on the TV, so I know its communicating, but says no tv is found...?

Last update ruined a good run. Now it only works sporadically and does not use the full screen on iPhone 5 which makes it look weird.

Theres no reason this shouldnt be updated to be able to handle the screen size of a 5 or a 5S not alone my 6 plus! Plus since the 7.0 update my TV has problems syncing up with this app to use it as a remote. Which I should be able to use as It is a feature to this TV. I bought the 3D tv for the passive 3D features but LG isnt the only brand doing that now, just sayin! Get with LG.....

This app works perfectly good with my 65 inch led LG tv. Makes my life easier because I can use the touch mouse pad and the keyboard for the smart tv options. Many people say it doesnt work. It works if your tv has wifi. Otherwise you need a rf antena for your phone. Great app and great tv.

Never works, period.

I own the model 42lk551. Im from Russia. I gave you a tribute when I bought the TV for your company. I trusted you. And now you cant support me. Cant do the firmware with support for wifi modem. I can buy a cheap wifi modem, but I cant buy a new TV with webOS. Why do you turn away from me? Because my model is not that old. 2011. I was disappointed in you. I have been with you since "gold star". But most of you for me not a Star.

This is a great app but it has stopped finding my TV (Lb6100) after the latest update. Not cool LG!

I downloaded the latest update and now the app doesnt recognize my tv.

When I first downloaded this app on my iPhone 6 it worked great. Then after the last update the app cant seem to find my TV no matter what I do. Its very disappointing. I hope there is another update soon to get it to start working again. Its very useful when it is working since I have the smart remote which can be a pain sometimes.

This app stop working after last update the tv is not recogniZed after update

If I delete the app and re-install, it will pair with the 55LW5600. But if you switch away and then back to the app, it cant find the TV. Smaller issues: Screen size not updated to newer phones. Back when it did work, it couldnt turn the TV on.
